Genesis is a bit looser, offering players what is essentially Conquest, but giving them the freedom to make it up as they go along, choosing their own characters, factions, officers and ambitions. In Conquest, players will choose a character, each with a specific faction, story and ambitions. Empires only features two game modes, Conquest and Genesis, however there is a lot to get from either of them.
